Sivrialan, Turkey

Sivrialan is a village of Sarkisla, Sivas Turkey. It is a modern one since nearly all settlers in village are using the sewerage systems, sun power to heat waters in summer times and all inside and city connection ways are asphalts. With these modern systems Sivrialan is different from the others. This is because of the a famous Turkish folk poet, Asik Veysel Satiroglu, died on 21 march 1973, are said one of the most popular one in his art. There are nearly very little persons in winters, may a few youngs and the whole is old persons. But in summer times this is double of the winters, could be 2 or 3 hundred persons. One to four part of village is covered by forests, includes pines, wild poplars, paks, bushs, rosepins and others. This is not too big one only small but enough to give firewoods to villagers in winters. In village's forest there are many kinds of animals such as wolves, foxes, bears, wild pigs, etc. But it is very fine to have picnic inside. There were a big migrations to cities in the 1980s especially to Ankara, capital of Turkey and a sea side city, Mersin. But there are also many immigrants to Germay. But all people in these cities do not forget each others for this reason they live in the same part of the these cities and visit their village as often as. Sivrialan is not a historical village but nature is very fine in all seasons. In winters, nearly five or six mounts Sivrialan is under snow, all where are white. But in springs and summers whole where are green. If you like nature and outdoors, you will probably would like visit it.
